When I'm doing a newborn session, I'm dealing with a lot of firsts. It's usually the first time I'm meeting the family in person, the first time I'm photographing in their home and sometimes it's even the first time they are getting family pictures. So maybe it's only human that we all get butterflies right before a newborn session. I know I do.
Thankfully those butterflies were gone as soon as I met this family. They were so kind, easy going, flexible and trusting. They let me move things around and right away the husband handed me a step stool and helped me with my reflector to get the best lighting. The mom helped me get those perfect smiles from her kids, that only come from a loving mother. And they were so flexible with their cute toddler, (because let's face it, you have to be flexible with a toddler during a photo session...actually all kids for that matter).
I was so happy to meet this family and feel the love they had for each other! Now if only I could use their beautiful apartment as a photography studio hehe.
