My husband and I recently moved to Long Island, New York this summer. Another place that we've moved to without knowing a single soul. Thankfully we still have a lot of friends and most of my photo clients live close by in Manhattan. But does anyone else have a hard time moving somewhere new? I'd like to think we are getting better at it, but it still takes me a good 6 months to feel completely settled in a new area
